At Bethany Christian School, students are encouraged and empowered to participate in the joyful expression of the love of Jesus using the gifts of music and art, regardless of level of experience or achievement.
In an excellent fine arts facility, and through many group and individual performance opportunities throughout the academic year, students learn to share their talents as a gift to the Lord and to the world.
In addition to general music theory and history, grade-specific music class highlights include:
- Kindergarten through second grade students learn the basics of rhythm, pitch and dynamics, as well as vocalization.
- Third through fifth grade students put music theory into practice and hone their performance skills through various instrumentation, group singing, and vocalization.
- Sixth through eighth grade students can choose from a variety of performance ensemble electives, including Worship Team and Performing Arts.
