Parents in Prayer is a group of moms, dads, and grandparents who meet together on the third Friday of each month to pray for our students, staff, school, community, and world. Their goal is to pray for the Holy Spirit to work in their lives, that they will surrender to Him every day and be the young men and women that God wants them to be. They will also pray for the school, staff, community, and world.
When is it? They will meet on the third Friday of each month for one hour at 8:30 a.m. This time is open to all parents and grandparents of students at Bethany Christian School. They will meet in A1 on the south side of the campus.
What will they do? They will come together and visit for up to 5 minutes. Then, they will have a silent time of confession, praise the Lord together, thank the Lord together, and then pray Scripture for our children. You will not feel pressured to pray out loud in front of everyone. We will then pray for the prayer requests that have been turned in. After our initial meeting, there will be time set aside for fellowship and getting to know one another.
Why come? I can pray from home! There is something powerful about coming together as believers. You will also be refreshed and at peace as you pray Scriptures that are chosen specifically for your children.
If you have any questions or if you have specific prayer requests, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org. A prayer box is located in our front office to submit prayer requests, as well.
