Welcome to Bethany Christian School Athletics!
Our overall athletic program complements the mission of the school: partnering with you to develop fully your child’s unique potential in Christ, spiritually, intellectually, socially, physically, and creatively. We subscribe to the truism that physical fitness is a life skill. Being physically fit serves to honor God (1 Corinthians 6:19, 20), and exposure to physical skill development activities at an early age contributes to a healthy lifestyle in later years.
Bethany Christian School is home to the Bobcats, proud member of the Cactus Christian Schools League since 2006, previously named the Valley Christian Schools League. Our players and coaches strive for excellence in the areas of character building, commitment, responsibility, hard work, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Our athletic department encompasses regularly scheduled physical education classes, and team sports.
In addition to our PE program, our student body is provided an opportunity to represent the school in eight different sports throughout the year while competing with other private, charter, and Christian schools in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
It is wonderful to see the school spirit thrive as our students compete with a winning attitude and participate in the athletic program in such a way that honors God and conveys a positive witness to those around us.
